This is a space for exploring art, craft, and creativity shaped by over twenty years of travel and enriched by experiences from visiting numerous high-end exhibitions and shows in museums and galleries around the world.

In 2013, I visited the Gardiner Museum to see its collection, and my heart was captivated by the simplicity and elegance of modern ceramics in the shop. I found myself drawn to the beauty of each piece and the thoughtful designs. That visit inspired me to become part of the museum’s community and contribute to the city’s artistic life. I began volunteering in January 2015 and soon became involved as a craft artist.

Over the years, my acrylic paintings were commissioned in small formats for interior design projects, and I had many discussions with companies about launching a line of greeting cards. I even remember early conversations in 2009–2010 with IKEA’s fine art and print providers. However, life became hectic, and the project paused for a few years. By 2014, I completed my first official painting series, which has been successfully sold at the Gardiner Museum Shop and the Bata Shoe Museum since 2015.

My journey with ceramics began around the same time. I took private classes by Canadian ceramic artists in both wheel and hand-building techniques while engaging deeply with the museum’s ceramic community. Surrounded by accomplished ceramic artists, I helped promote their works, supported curatorial processes, visited collectors, and attended numerous exhibitions. Along the way, I discovered my own artistic identity—blending sculptural clay work with painting, merging two disciplines into one expressive form.

My passion for craft continued to grow. I began painting on linen pillowcases and experimenting with fabric art and screen printing—creating hand-painted, functional pieces that brought together design and utility. The tactile nature of fabric inspired me further, leading me to explore my next passion: bold, chunky-style jewelry.

Travelling through Southeast Asia, I became fascinated by the fine silk produced in northern Vietnam and Cambodia. I visited small villages where women wove silk and dyed it with organic colours. Inspired by their craft, I began creating silk and wooden bead necklaces—each design refined with contemporary materials for a modern, elegant touch. The silk bead, wrapped like a pearl in a fishing net, became my signature detail.

All my artworks and handcrafted pieces are one-of-a-kind and have been featured and sold through museum shops, galleries, and art shows.
